Where are your “drivers” taking you?!!

In a follow up post on submodalities:

When you are using submodalities to make changes with a client it is important to correctly identify a driver. A driver is key to making the change. If you are working with someone who is using auditory submodalities it is important to find the correct driver to help the client make the switch. So, basically the driver is what will cause all the other submodalitites to shift. It is possible, that you will not know the real driver until you begin manipulating them & see the shift occur with the actual driver.

Working with a skilled NLP’er will benefit you because they will know to look for the “drivers” before locking it in!

I often will use just the visual with submodalities because it’s so fast and readily available. I have had clients who weren’t very visual and so then I moved into using the kinesthetic or auditory and found drivers there.

One woman heard lies in her mother’s voice and true things in her grandmother’s voice. all we had to do to make a desired belief true, was pop it into her grandmother’s voice. and shazaam! done deal.

    once again excellent work!
